Title: Working on "new items" button
Even though I haven't had any New Items to add, I am aware that my "New Items' button isn't working so I will get that fixed soon. I am taking orders for custom quilts, which is keeping me really busy....thus the reason for no "new items"! I just stich away every day on my Husqvarna Viking DSM. It's a true workhorse! I've had it for about 10 years now and sews like a dream. I am thinking about getting a new machine this year but I will keep this one. I'm too attached to it to trade it in!

Title: Quilting Club
We are having fun at our quilting club meetings. The regular meetings are the second Monday of the month at 6:45 PM CST, at Teri's Threads, on the square in downtown Paris, IL. Everyone is welcome! We are starting a block of the month quilt and will be having interesting discussions and/or lessons every meeting.
We are NOT meeting in May since many of our members are farmers' wives (including me), so our next meeting is the second Monday in June. Please join us!

Title: Prairie Stitchin Quilt Club first meeting
The first meeting of the Prairie Stitchin Quilt club was held March 10, 2009 at the Redmon Fire station. There were 12 of us at the meeting and we had a good time, including a way to put binding on our quilts that none of us had seen before. Next month (April) we will try to find a place in Paris to meet. There are several who are excited about the new club - including me!

Title: Quilting/sewing club anyone?
Would you like to be in a group of gals who like to quilt and sew and not have that group be overwhelming with things you have to do? Me too!!! So I am starting a new quilt club called "Prairie Stitchin Quilt Club". E-mail me or call me if you would like the details. I want to make sure this is a FUN group and not something that creates stress with too many things to do.
