About Us
|
| |
| My dear hubby and I live on a farm with our sweet yellow lab, Amber. We have five amazing daughters and nine beautiful grandkids! I have been sewing since high school a hundred years ago but I made my first quilt in 2005. In January of 2008 I got my Gammill long-arm quilting machine.

| My quilting studio is in our home, an 1885 farmhouse on the Illinois prairie surrounded by farmland. Hubby is a grain farmer and I enjoy helping with the farm work during planting and harvest. Our home is SMOKE-FREE.

| I love every part of the process of making a quilt - cutting the fabric, piecing the fabric, quilting, and finishing with the binding.
|
| |
| All of my quilts are made from only high-quality, quilt shop cotton fabric. Also only top-quality thread and batting are used. I surge the raw edges of the fabric so it won't fray or stretch in the washer, then I wash the fabric in warm water and dry it in the dryer. I use only a little bit of Tide detergent and no fabric softener. Then I iron the fabric before cutting. My quilts are all made by me, from start to finish.

| Each of my quilts are made with love and pride and your quilt will be quilted by me with the same love and pride.
